Senior Laboratory Analyst
Wheal Jane Laboratory has a full-time vacancy for a Senior Laboratory Analyst.
Working with the Laboratory Manager as part of the senior laboratory team to ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory. Other duties include analysis of samples using ICP-OES, AAS and XRF instruments, compiling and sending test reports, maintaining equipment and operating the laboratory management system.
We are offering a competitive salary package of £30k to £37.5k with additional enhancements including bonuses following completion of a six-month probationary period.

Laboratory Technician
Wheal Jane Laboratory has a full-time vacancy for a Laboratory Technician.
Main tasks include carrying out analysis of samples using ICP-OES, AAS and XRF instruments, and other duties including making up stock solutions, sample preparation, washing glassware, and maintaining equipment.
We are offering a competitive salary package of £26k to £29.5k with additional enhancements including bonuses following completion of a six-month probationary period.

Sample Preparation Technician
Wheal Jane Laboratory is looking for a graduate/student for a twelve-month paid placement as a Sample Preparation Technician.
Main tasks include sorting, crushing, splitting and pulverising rock chip and drill core samples, plus other general laboratory duties. This type of work would suit an individual looking to gain some work experience as a first career step.
Salary £24k to £25.5k plus bonuses.
